A quick reflection on a short note of the avant-garde magazine «The present», which was published in Novosibirsk in the early 20s of 20 century. This series was shown in the festival «48 hours Novosibirsk.»

Some number of our comrades want to go with the flow, smoothly and calmly, without perspectives, without considering the future. So that they can feel a festive mood around every day, they want to be in solemn meetings with applause everywhere, and each of them want to become honorary members of the presidiums… And what are the results? The results are clear: at first they are moldy, then they turn gray, then they are sucked in by the mud of the babbittry, and then they turn into ordinary inhabitants. This is the real way of rebirth.»
